Mission
The Mission of the Pacific Union Congregational
Church is:

1. To know Christ - as believers, not just in our heads, but our
      innermost being, faithful to the gospel and rooted in Christ.
2.
To grow in Christ - committed to Christ, continually growing
      in Him and discipling others to constantly grow in Christ.
3.
To show Christ -restorers - to others by the example of our
      lives by manifesting the fruits of the Holy Spirit and by being
      a place for healing and restoration, specifically pursuing
      ministry to those in spiritual/emotional distress, and by
      being active in our outreach locally, and on the mission
      fields through prayer, participation and financial support.

* Through Biblical, reverent, affectionate, God-Centered
   Worship
* By deepening our understanding, obedience, and
   enjoyment as followers of Jesus Christ, through
   exposition, discipline, and patient instruction, known as
   Discipleship;
* By increasing in number and in an understanding of the
   good things of God through Evangelism;
* By spreading the influence and merciful effects of the
  Gospel through Missions; and
* By increasing in unity and love - the hallmarks of true
   Fellowship - thereby displaying the power, identity, and
   transformational character of Christ within the Christian
  Church.

As God wills it, our vision can be attained if we stay true to our
mission, which is to know Christ (believers), to grow in Christ
(be committed to Him), and to show Christ to others (be
Christ's vessels as restorers/healers to a broken world).

"From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every
supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as
each part does it's work." (Ephesians 4:16)
